We've got a Citroen C-Zero which has, inexplicably, thrown up two warning lights on the dash.

Ancillary battery charge and self diagnosis system.

None of the local dealers can work on the C-Zero. I rang Citroen to ask who could work on it and they are, frankly, useless. They just read out a list of local dealers but couldn't tell me who could actually work on it before suggesting I ring their specialist dealer for electric cars which is All Electric Garages in Kidderminster. Idiots.

I've tried removing the fuse for the main ecu and disconnecting the ancillary battery. Neither worked.

So, before I end up trailering the thing 50 miles to Citroen has anyone got any ideas?

Main fuse somewhere that I can pull out? Some other trick that might get it to reset?

I'd never heard of it but since Autocar says :

"The Citroen C-Zero is effectively a rebadged version of the Mitsubishi i-MiEV and Peugeot iOn."

Could you not try asking Peugeot or even Mitsubishi ?

<chuckle> Apt. Very apt...

But anyway, wouldn't your breakdown cover provider move it for you...?

As has been said, it's a plug-in Mitsu i with chevrons. Talk to your local Mitsu dealer. I can't imagine the tech is very different from their other EVs and hybrids.

Did you get anywhere with this?

Worth searching and posting here if not?

(And as per the link, have you tried a new 12v battery?)
