Quite tempting for a bit of fun. I realise the battery lease is on top of this but still pretty cheap all things considered. I need to see if my 6 foot 4 frame can get comfy in one before taking the plunge.

They do look like a hoot but I wonder how quickly the novelty would wear off.
Looks like the (compulsory) battery lease is about £60 pcm, taking it to £75. Half the cost of a battery-included Zoe with more range, more equipment, more seats, more heating, more a/c, more safety, etc. Hmm…..

It remains the advertised price so long as you are happy to pay the GFV at the end, no? (or hand the car back).Looks like the (compulsory) battery lease is about £60 pcm, taking it to £75. I looked at the Zoe and I do like it but the Twizy is just so different. I often have crazy ideas though...such as trading an M135i in for an Abarth 595 lol
I would buy the doors, aftermarket windows and then enjoy pottering about with it over time and adding/changing things. I just wonder if I'd feel like an idiot driving it lol
if they did a battery charge for 3000 miles at say £35, all in £50 it would be better... Insurance quote of £175.00 is a little off-putting for what is essentially a toy.
Of course in Telford EV cars get free parking at the station, so if you feel happy leaving it in the station car park all day (or for a couple of days) it would pay for itself easily. How secure are they with the doors?

From what I recall, about as secure as one with no doors! I don't think the standard doors even HAVE windows - the side screens, which just clip on, are a further option I think? They are fun, but odd, to drive with no doors!

Utterly mad deal
Last month, Renault were chucking mental money at Twizy's, ZOE's and Kangoo ZE's that were at dealers for registration this quarter, I didn't take much notice as we aren't stuck with any of them but the figures were pretty eye watering.I should imagine this Twizy deal is as a result of one or two that the dealer has and that Renault want regsitered.

I'm going to be calling these guys at lunch. It would suit the OH perfectly for her 3 mile commute, and at that cost, why the hell not!
How did you get on?I believe the Renault 'windows' aren't the best and still leave a gap but there's another non-Renault supplier online who manufacture and supply a better version.
I would enjoy creating something like this...

...but no doubt Renaultsport has invested tens of thousands in it!

Tried to buy one as a toy but told they were "finding it difficult to locate stock". Promised a call before close of business last Friday (when the deal ends) and no return call.
Did anyone here manage to secure one?
Not exactly surprising in this day and age but it gets to me when they can't give you the courtesy of a simple telephone call.Did anyone here manage to secure one?
