Miles Per KW - Whats Best ? Who Hyper Miles ? Who Cares ?
Discussion
The US EPA do a decent job of measuring EV efficiency and at the moment the i3 is the most efficient EV. The league table is quite interesting, it really shows how inefficient the Tesla Model S is.
Personally I never bother hypermiling unless on a rare journey outside of the battery range. With recharging being so cheap I just don't see the point in trying to eek out a few more miles if not needed. The ECO-PRO button in my i3 is hardly ever used.

Driving as I would a petrol car with heater and stuff on as normal I get 3.2 / 3.4 from the Zoe, my Mrs gets 3.6 but drives slower.
Do i3`s do better, Leafs? who is the king of KW/M
We're getting 3.1 from our 2 month old Zoe, but that is driving like a 'normal' car with heater on, no Eco mode nonsense & liberal use of the torques!Do i3`s do better, Leafs? who is the king of KW/M
Range has now risen considerably with the warmer weather, to around 65 miles of town usage with full heater, lights etc. Was barely hitting 50 miles a few weeks ago
11,614 battery only miles and mine is showing 3.6 miles / kWh.
