Sadly, with a new company car on the way I cannot justify keeping the i3. That's after 12 months of completely fault free fun in what has been an excellent car.

Given that I am not trading the car in, or buying a replacement, I thought I would speak to the main dealer to get a price anyway. They told me that the main dealers are still not handling second hand stock, but this is being handled by BMW centrally. Looking in the Pistonheads classifieds this doesn't seem to be universally true, there appears to be a couple knocking about at main dealers. Anybody know different?

Are you sure the ones at main dealers aren't ex demonstrators up for sale? Ive never heard of the Marque dealing only with used versions of cars though, most odd

Cooper Reading told me they are about to start handling second hand cars, it may be worth speaking to them.

Drop me a PM too, I may be interested.....

Looks like Vines in Guildford have 4 for sale out front, and they've put their i8 demonstrator on the forecourt too. No mention on their website of any of them though confused

eta the i8 isn't for sale apparently, just sitting in a different place to usual.
