Biggest M&S anywhere in Cheshire Oakes, bloody huge full of uppity young things and also my Mrs - "you can charge whilst getting your knickers" I said and as I was with her I checked out the Charger - ONE 3 Pin Plug - FFS!! that's it. Pretty incredible as this M&S is a eco store that they boast loudly about. What was the point.

I live half a mile from a Waitrose Store opened on a greenfield site about 3 years ago. Adding a Southern Park & Ride facility was part of the planning consent, despite Waitrose's claim for being green, no sign of a charging point.

To be fair the town does have 2 at the North P & R, another 2 in Town Centre car parks and there is one at a Hotel for guest use only.

3 pin sockets outside shops are a waste of space. 10 hours to charge your car!

There are a couple of sockets like that next to a local TKMaxx (formerly a bestbuy). They are permanently ICEd but as they are pointless it doesn't bother me. Trouble is I guess they think they've catered for EVs so they are unlikely to get upgraded any time soon.

Before visiting Highcross in Leicester I read their website saying that they had EV charging. Was a bit surprised when I got there to see dozens of 3-pin sockets. I suppose it's better than nothing.
