Hi
Looking for above, outright purchase non flex, got to be the Tekna as the boss cannot live without heated bum warmers.
Yes i know it will only do about 10 miles before low loader recovery with a/c on full, seats on,lights on etc.biglaugh, but thems the rules.

Might consider new.

Try Richard Davies at Chorley Nissan in Burnley. Bought ours from him. He's one of the few sales people who understands the cars too, so you will be in good hands.

My understanding is the heated seats and steering wheel draw power from the 12v battery rather than the drivetrain battery so they don't have an adverse effect on the range unlike using the HRW, Heater and A/c

Not sure if it's of any interest as it's a PCP deal but this is what I got -

Nissan Leaf Tekna in solid Red with the 6.6KW charger.

£3,000.00 deposit

24 monthly payments £149.92 followed by the GFV - £14,381.89 and this is based on 12,000 miles per annum.

Where does the 12V battery get its energy from then?!

Current draw from heated seats, etc. is tiny relative to the main cabin heater, and as stated above the supply for them is via the regular 12V car battery, not the EV battery. That said, there is a trickle charge from main EV battery to 12V, but it will not materially affect range. Also the main cabin heater on up-spec 2013+ Leafs is a lot more efficient. I'm guessing 60 miles range (with a bit of contingency) in adverse weather conditions. Should be further with only the 12V seat heaters on.

From the wall charger before you drive off. During the trip it is trickle charged off the main EV battery. Not sure when this kicks in - does it allow the 12V to run down a bit before charging? EV range only allows up to around 2 hours travel...
Regardless, this is not much energy relative to the EV battery. Around 60W per seat on high.

60 miles is perfectly possible in a Leaf in worst-case conditions. I can drive mine to work and back, with the heater on all the way, along with wipers and headlights.

The drive has a good few hills as well.

I do stick at 60MPH on the 15 miles of the journey on the M5 though. A bit slow, but that's how it has to be, going fast uses a lot more power.
