BYD - spotted in London

[Mr Gear]

OK, so I know what BYD cars are: Chinese electric cars.

But I don't know why I keep seeing them in London. Maybe I am seeing the same car repeatedly (quite possible), but considering they don't seem to be available here, and the British motoring press never mention them, who the hell is importing/driving them?

The model I am seeing is a SUV sort of thing that looks like a Lexus RX400. Anyone know what the story is?
