Sat in the Tesla and it feels great, looks fantastic too. They've got 2 on a stand that you can sit in and poke around, both have 7 seats, and at least 2 doing test drives around the wharf. I love opening the sunroof by sliding a picture of a sunroof on the screen, a gimmick but nice nonetheless.

i8 is roped off but I'm sure they would let you have a poke around it if serious. It looks very futuristic but a lot bigger in the flesh than I thought it would be.

I think the Tesla is the star of the show, and that is from someone who thinks electric cars are a white elephant. If I suddenly found £60k and had to spend it on a car I think I would get a Tesla, it looks like a fantastic family car that just happens to be electric.

I didn't see it but only popped out during lunch. I think my kids would love that but wouldn't be able to trundle off to the shops in it.

Really wanted to sit in the i8, looks awesome in the flesh.

The Tesla is certainly interesting, 20 mins to get to 50% charge with one of those quick chargers apparently. The luggage space is ridiculous!

I took some pictures to post here in case anyone is interested

The outside looks fabulous. I was less impressed with the inside; I guess I was expecting something more futuristic.

I agree with the Tesla comments. I was surprised at how much positive feedback it was getting from visitors. I thought that people would dismiss it as a niche eco-car but there was a lot of serious interest and everyone seemed to be intrigued by it. The front boot, rear-facing jump seats and massive screen seemed to get good feedback. Having said that I agree with Dave Hedgehog that the massive central screen doesn't look right in the cabin. It's as though they got a tablet and just stuck it on the dashboard. It would look better if the dashboard design was more square.

OT but Lexus had an LFA on their stand, they even fired it up, oh my word cloud9

Thanks Amit. Beautiful motor. Still can't get over the fact that it is passing a 911.
