We had a Environment day at work today and had a few manufacturers bring cars in to view and test drive. I didn't get a chance to take any out as only had a few minutes and lunchtime but look a few pictures.

BMW i3 and Tesla looked fantastic in the flesh and the interiors are a very nice place to be. Didn't see the price tags but they had the premium feel about them

Outlander was a hybrid and just felt like a normal car nothing fancy about it, but certainly a nice car inside an out.

The Leaf surprised me the most. Looked good up close, and the interior was a nice place to sit. Spent some time chatting to the sales guy and the numbers looked very good. I was even surprised to learn that if you run out of battery then Nissan will arrange for AXA to collect you free of charge. Also once a year you can borrow a Nissan product free for charge the weekend (not sure if that includes the GTR though)

I wouldn't purchase a EV at the present time but changed my perception of them. Will be interesting in 5 years how these filter down into the used car market and the values for them compared to new prices.

I'm still quite tempted by the Outlander PHEV. I think Mitsubishi are going to do well with those.
