Please amend the charge-ePower graphic on the 'dash' to show at what point during regen the brake lights come on, it's driving me nuts to think that my rear brake lights are blinking on all the time when i lift off relatively gently.

What would be brilliant would be a little 'notch' in the accelerator pedal upon regen (a bit like the kickdown on an auto) where you could feel some resistance and you would know that to regen any more would put the lights on.

I have to disagree, I could not care less about the brake lights !! Please no more crap telling me about what the car is doing - I don't care !

Yeah - I'm not bothered about the brake lights either. I just assume that BMW have calibrated it sensibly!

A couple of other thoughts from me for v2.0 (quibbling really as I think the car is fantastic):

A little more regen braking wouldn't go amiss. It felt really strong when I first got the car, but not so much now I've got used to it. I am aware that there is a safe limit harvesting through the rear wheels only of course.

Black floor mats for all trim levels please - I can't keep the white ones clean!!

Turn the radio off when you hit the stop button please. People look at you funny when you get out of the car with the radio blaring - it only silencing when you lock the car with the blipper.

If you press the stop button again without your foot on the brake it will kill the radio.. not sure if you need your belt off etc.

when you stick it in park, put the parking brake on automatically
put a bit of creep into the transmission so it doesn't roll back when you come to a standstill

if you press the power button again with your foot off the brake, that shuts everything off. It's a habit i've got into, 2 quick prods when you come to a standstill then get out.

Sort why the rear seats don't fold back up without having to open the boot and pull the release tab.
Make it easier to refit the parcel shelf.
That's it. Nothing else.

There's another tab on the cabin side that allows the rear seats to return to their locked position. It's between the upper and lower squab on the outside. Hth

Stay in the mode that you left it in Eg. ECO+ not keep going back to comfort, If you turn the heating off leave it off when you restart the car. Stop the nav asking you what country when you want to start a new destination input. Seal the frunk, mines always full of leaves and water. use the Ac compressor in reverse for the heat pump. A bigger battery and better range estimation. Better information on the BMW web site for options and exactly what they are and the range impact of having them or not having them. Heated rear seats.

Thanks Greg. Just found those.
Just that tricky parcel shelf left.

-Stereo knob to be moved to the right hand side for RHD cars.
-Handbrake icon to be moved to the top of the screen (rather than the bottom where you can't see it).
-DAP to be available with standard interior.
-Adjustable regen strength (like the E-UP).
-Ability to send map location to NAV within BMWi remote app.

Make the sun visor wider (or make it slide on a bar so you can adjust where it sits). When you un-clip it to use on the side window it is pretty useless. Really bugs me as I have the sun on that window to and from work. Such a simple thing to get right, but they have not bothered.

Remote control Preconditioning needs the ability to adjust temperature from the app. There is no point in using the app on a cold morning, when you have returned home the previous afternoon when temperatures have been high.

The ability to send new destinations to the satnav needs to be made more intuitive as well. That's a mess at the moment.

Two good suggestions. I have a feeling the BMWi app will be updated at some point to allow you to select locations from the map and send it to the car. I was surprised you couldn't do it.

If you're using android there is an app you can install which lets you do it via google maps which is pretty slick to use.

More power ( I could cope with half the range ). Normal rear doors - current ones are a pain when you have 4 people in the car and park between 2 other vehicles . A sat nav that realises that I am in the uk every time I use it. Nectar points when you get 5 stars for acceleration or anticipation . Permanently fitted rubber nodders on the rear parcel shelf - mine keep falling off( well one does the other one has gone awol and now the shelf rattles like a good un )

funny you should say more power...

is there some complicated algorithm that dictates how much power gets delivered? sometimes it near snaps my neck off with initial jump from about 15-20mph, other times there is a VERY noticeable ramping up of power and it only feels like it is full power @ C.40mph. Other times, it just feels pretty slow.

I've definitely got used to the power now...

A sport button that doubles power but halves range for occasional use would be great!

I can't understand how a car that produces peak torque at zero rpm cannot spin the wheels off the line ( and the traction light doesn't flash ), so I imagine the actual torque output ramps up - like you I find , say, 30-60 stunning but 0-30 is actually less so . Even holding it on the brakes with the left foot and giving it some doesn't help much ( you can get some power on with slightly held brakes. ). I suppose gearing may be the issue . It is funny getting wheelspin at 30-40mph in the wet though .

Msport i3 anyone ( or a dms remap )

I think I read somewhere there's a clever clutch arrangement to stop the zero-revs torque snapping your neck, but I agree, sometimes it seems too slow to get going.
