Ooops !! Think someone forgot to plug their I3 in
Discussion
Hi there,
Travelling round Manchester City Centre today in between appointments and I happened to see what I recognised was a BMW i3, ooh I thought nice to see one on the road.
However what I did not expect to see was the car with its hazard lights on and a couple of slightly embarrased what I am pretty sure were BMW technicians stood at the side of it.
Guess someone forgot to check the range before they left the dealership
Regards
Tim

do any of the recovery companies offer charging recovery?
I know the AA were looking at arming their fleet with a few equipped trucks for such occasions but they've scrapped the idea apparently, not sure on Green Flag or RAC

A reason for EV owners to pay more tax than normal cars - the congestion caused by cars running out of range on a regular basis will become massively more common as the numbers on the road increase.
Apparently Tesla are working on a highly intelligent solution to this. They are considering fitting a small gauge visible to the driver that tells them how full the battery is.
It's fking radical man but it might just help.
