I've just been looking at this, in particular the BMW Access packages.

Basically for £40 a month, you can hire a 1 series for 7 days. That works out at £68 a day. Seems a bit pricey to me.

You also get access to the ChargeNow network, but you can do that just by paying £20 a year. You can sign up to the Polar Network (seems to be exactly the same thing) for £10 a year.

You do get the public charging cable included with the BMW Package but they are about £165 I think. If you take that out and the £20 subscription it makes the 1 Series £42 a day.

I think I am just going to pay £10 for the Polar Network an dbuy a cable. What are other i3 purchasers planning on doing?

Also, do we need a separate PH section for electric vehicles?

So we have! A recent addition that I missed due to only viewing 'favourite' forums... Now favourited!

Same !

They've added a bit more detail onto the BMW Electric Packages website since I last looked but I don't see anything to persuade me to subscribe. Last time this was mentioned in one of the i3 threads someone from BMW posted up trying to put forward the case. I forget who it was, maybe he'll turn up here too.
