That said, it comes down to personal preference. I loved my old ZX TD from years ago. Objectively it wasnt good, but it was a hoot to hustle along a country road, even if it wasnt fast. But thats my personal preference.

LOL - yep! ;-)

And just to clarify - I know the Genesis isn't an Ioniq6, but the basic platform and the software underlying the cars' UI is largely the same - just with different skins. This means many of the same frustrations/limitations/complexity will be similar in the Ioniq6.

To kinda bring this to a conclusion, I'm opting for a used 2023 Model Y LR.

Driven both cars and the Tesla (for me) wins hands down.

It was quite close really, but the Tesla is better on the below points

Space
Ride quality
Option of 19" wheels (20" only on the Ioniq)
Charging network
Integration of app, software and chargers
Interior fit and feel - just prefer the minimalist look and seating position

Just need to get the funds together and go shopping..
