Very tempting as a little local runaround. Would only ever charge at home. And range not an issue.
That's quite tempting for local running around. 10 year warranty and lexus reliability means it'll surely be pretty hassle free. Certainly seems to make more sense than some of the budget new EVs on the market. https://www.autotrader.co.uk/car-details/202401225...

Yeah saw this the other day. I might look to replacing our e-Golf in the future if prices keep dropping.https://www.autotrader.co.uk/car-details/202401225...

£19k seems quite a lot of money for just a local runaround, considering that if range and charging aren't an issue you could spend a lot less on an EV, or for the same money you could get a 64 kWh Niro (or Kona/Soul) which would handle longer trips.https://www.autotrader.co.uk/car-details/202401225...

I guess it'd make sense if you really want Lexus quality and are happy to pay a bit more for that in an electric runaround.
As a replacement of our my '20 Hyundai Kona 64 kWh which was totalled earlier we got ourselves a my '20 Lexus UX 300E 'executive' [which is, except for the sunroof, similar to the 'Takumi' version in the UK] 10 days ago.
Seems we entered a completely new world after having a Hyundai Kona EV as runaround for 2 years / 12,500 miles.

it's in Dutch, but you will get the gist.

They are pretty rare - about 2000 of them knocking about.
suppose that they are currently even rarer in the Netherlands. Some data crunching revealed that early May 2024 just 250 UX 300E have a Dutch registration .
In perspective: that's less than 1% of the number of Tesla Model Y's with a Dutch registration
