Also the cheap figures shown earlier were for 6k miles and much cheaper cars. For an S-Line you’re looking at around £37k and paying interest at 12.9% on the full amount (minus deposit) will make quite a difference to the monthly cost.

I saw one at Derby which wasn’t too bad.

380 a month for a 50 with 10k a year.

I decided 100 miles wasn’t enough though so didn’t go and look

Just for balance, I just got quoted nearly £500/mth for a 2020 60k mile e-tron s line 50 with £1k deposit, 24 months and 10k miles a year. I nearly fell off my seat!
You need to be looking at the lowest price, lowest mileage and newest ones you can find. A healthy residual value and low asking price are key here.

Had a black one for 2 years. Looks great when new but a nightmare to keep clean (and there's a lot of it to wash) and shows up every little scratch or stone chip.

Was looking through earlier as tempted to get into another at the prices discussed and spotted our old car up for sale. smile

Get a ceramic coating then.

I’m assuming that’s because the residual value will be very low given it’s on 60k now?
That's all I can think.

£27k car. Less £1k. Less £2.5k. Less £18k residual.

I had my search filters for the 55, I see the 50 is quite a bit cheaper! Still, for the same parameters there’s a 23k miler for £479pm.

If these deals are still around in a few months time then it may be quite tempting.

I was looking earlier at what was available. What's the difference between an e-tron and a Q4 e-tron? They look very similar. Is the Q4 a little higher/taller?

The old e-tron is now called a Q8 e-tron - it is bigger and more expensive than the Q4 e-tron.

I’m watching these quote closely now thanks to this thread, which will be a hilarious switch from bangernomics if I go for one, but running one these beasts for a term that’s out of the 2 year warranty offer scares the crap out of me.

For those who have picked up, did you get any confirmation of the 2 year free warranty, breakdown cover, key cover and MOT cover? Does the MOT cover include tyres if failed at MOT?

Also, what’s the process for the charger? My car is all ready but I’m not picking up till Saturday, however not heard anything on the charger or how it works

I had paperwork which covered all of the servicing etc. It’s basically a service pack but the price is zero.

Charger is a bit of a ballache to be honest, from Audi authorising it to my predicted installation date is around 6 weeks so a bit of a pain. You’ll get an email from Ohme any day now who’ll ask you to do a survey of your home for the installation, then someone from “ChargedEV” will phone you about booking a slot.

Thanks, did you get the paperwork once you picked up the car? The dealers I am using haven’t been very good tbh

Yeah I received it on collection and I also had a service agreement to sign as part of the finance paperwork. I had this a few days before picking the car up.

Which dealership are you getting it from? The service I received from Maidstone (Marshall group) was very poor.

I’m picking it up from Crewe. Unfortunate I think the dealers forget that they’re in December, and we’re really doing them a favour buying in this climate when they’d otherwise be not selling much.

I just noticed my agreement says hire purchase, and not PCP - is this correct?

Mine was definitely PCP with the breakdown of payments and final payment value etc.

I’d double check that with the dealer personally.
