It's dusty, so I think the barnfind adjudication sub-committee will approve.

It’s looking great, cheers for the updates. Popped into see mine yesterday, but didn’t manage to bring it home.

Not sure if it counts as a barn find:

Looks very complete.

That's no way to park though.

The standard brakes are not great, if you come in too fast you end up like that!

Fantastic thread, please keep it updated. I remember looking at these in a shop in the 80's as a little lad.

I took the 48v C5 out today as the mother-in-law wanted some butter and coffee. It’s a great thing for short runs.

What are these in the eyes of the law? The same as a leccy pedal bike?

Maggie Thatcher used to get together with Sir Clive for business lunches, she dropped a tip to Sir Clive that the govt were about to pass a law that lightly powered elec trikes and other vehicles could be used by 14 and over o. The road. Sir Clive too that info and invented the C5…those laws are still there so it’s under a certain speed and power, over 14 and no licence.

One of my C5s still has the ROSPA guide paperwork that came with first purchase on safe riding.
