There was no Scania truck. On the YouTube clip someone commented that he could just of pulled over and he came out with some waffle that he wanted to come off at a slip road, so why should he change lanes. Similarly there was no imminent slip road on the footage either.

You could have just slowed down a touch so the taxi went in front, or sped up a touch so he slotted in behind.

But those options wouldn’t have made for a cool video like sitting in his blindspot does, would they?

Yep. On the YT vid description he even states "Had another car or truck been coming up I would have been toast." Great, so... there was no truck, despite saying on this thread there was

Phase one) Post video on YT hoping everyone sees only what the taxi driver did wrong.

Phase two) Got another video with a speeding EV, head over to the EV forum and state it's and EV issue - hope they don't find the earlier vid...

Phase three) fk they've seen the taxi vid, pretend I didn't pull over because a truck was coming..
