Hi all,
Looking to agree a deal on 675lt, the only thing I wish to change are the seats, seeing if anyone is in a similar poison but the other way around.

Currently has comforts and I would like to swap with someones P1, please.
Is this a possibility, or am I best buying p1's used then listing mine for sale and biding my time?

Thanks

You’ll be better finding a car with the right seats or making sure this one is £20k less

I think you will be lucky to find someone looking for a swap that way round.

Few sets of P1s for sale on ebay, all advertised for ages and very strong money, might be worth making an offer.

What Frankie said.

The chances of finding anyone wanting to swap out (+ cash ) P1s for comforts are less than slim.

My 675 came with P1s and comforts, and after a year I had the P1s swapped out during a service, and before I got home had called to arrange them being swapped back over.

The P1s are just excellent.

A 675 with comforts is a hard sell.

Finding a set of P1s will be a very expensive task, and as they don't depreciate, any discount will be fractional.

Currently 12 675s advertised on autotrader, 7 spiders, 5 coupes

2 lhd, 2 'story' cars, 1 import that's been for sale for 4 years, 1 with the most awful seat personisation ever seen.

Of the other 6, 2 are collector pieces @ £350k & £700k, and other 4 have P1s.

Waiting for the 'perfect' spec is also a challenge.

Best of luck with your search; there will be faster macs, but the 675 is peak McLaren and you shall love it.

Just buy the right car as seats are an easy swap

I picked up a set of P1 seats on eBay.

They came out of a crashed 570S, so lots about

I’ve found the opposite to what some folks are saying here.

You would be better holding onto the original seats as many people prefer them

I recently bought some Senna’s and a lot of people wanted my Sports seats

P1’s are less sought after so you should be able to pick some up

The P1 seats are the most sought after seats McLaren released; they seldom come up for sale and when they do they are a very large chunk of cash.

I sold my comfort seats as although they seemed fantastic in the 650 spider I previously had, they didn't suit the 675; they took ages to sell even thought they were alcantara / leather, and even then it was for around £1000 for the pair.

Very few people want a 675 with comforts.

Just do a search for Mclaren seats....

Edit, there's 4 sets for sale and a couple of singles, a set must have sold since I last looked.

Can you pm me the story? It’s got McLaren warranty, so it can’t be too bad!?

It took a heck of a lot of work and blank cheque to get the McLaren warranty.

Effectively fine now, but at the prices of 675 spiders, nobody wants a car that has a 'story', evidently by the fact its been for sale for a long time.

One of the others had a mileage blocker.

The 675 world is tiny, fortunately or, unfortunately.

Thanks...I didn't see them when looking....I guess it's the same rails for the seat fixings if going from 720 to 650/675 tub?

Seats are interchangeable between every mclaren model.
