Interesting results on the dealerships from MOC

Interesting results and feedback from the MOC membership; just goes to show that those who advocate using V etc are still remarkably happy with their choices, and so they should be.
Guildford doing what they do best in their present form.

V are fantastic. Unfortunately as my 570 is still under McLaren warranty it has to be serviced in dealer network for warranty to be valid. Likely to self insure when expires.

I'd avoid Guildford at all costs. Main chap, Damian who was brilliant, has left and they can't cope with demand and don't have the specialists. Took over a week for a simple job (which was booked in for a day) to be completed. Also ignored a couple of other things I wanted checked.

Going with McLaren Ascot for service next month. Come recommended by VE and forum feedback is good. Fingers crossed!

I went from Ascot to Guildford - although that was when Guildford were much better than they seem to be these days. I found Ascot ok but wasn't happy with the insane quote they gave me for retrofit of soft close.

Now using V and very happy.

Interesting results, but it would be a lot more useful knowing how many people replied for each dealership.

Hatfiled looks to have had 15 responses, whereas Manchester had 6 but Glasgow and Brum only had 3?

Not seen any other results being published but would be interesting to see them.

Both the indies available in the UK did very well in the survey. Mclaren OE a bit hit n miss generally the conclusion!

Ah I see, apologies! Future McLaren owner here and would have been handy to get a gist of what local dealerships are good to deal with. Can’t join MOC as don’t have a McLaren….yet!

Leeds were pretty much middle of the road. Will stands out generally as service manager, I was happy enough with their service dept, didn't use them for anything else.
