Guys

Still after a Curacao Blue, seen this at F12. Can you experts shed some light on spec etc, I think it has track pack but no mention.

After a recent experience with F12, be very cautious everything they say in the advert is confirmed, i.e check over service history records etc etc, always worth speaking to a main dealer and ask them to check its history in their database.

I think the plate is RX67 TSV , fwiw.

ISTR the Track Pack cars had the 'bent spoke' ten spoke wheels which are the absolute lightest, this car has the 'straight spoke' ones which are one step heavier, so suggests probably not Track Pack although it has the P1 buckets.

The front corner aero and the side skirts look very aftermarket to me, bonnet doubly so. The aero looks like an aftermarket imitation of the 600LT parts (but isn't actually the same shape). I could be wrong and it could be some super-rare MSO parts for the 570S ... but I'm leaning towards aftermarket. Which then leads me to question how much of the rest of the carbon is OEM.

In terms of spec I'm guessing it has the basic 4-speaker audio, otherwise seems not to be missing anything obvious.

Just looked at the advert, no mention of service history and as Sam says, bonnet and side skirt ad ons are non standard, no Mclaren warranty mentioned either.

Personally i would avoid like the plaque, sounds to me like they are trying to reel the punter in with all the carbon goodies mentioned, not the important stuff. I possibly wouldn't believe any "we can get anything sorted at Mcleeds or MCManchester talk either 😉

This is another one just come up with masses of carbon, not Curacao blue but interested to hear others thoughts? Odd it doesn't have the centre console plate in carbon? I'm going to stick with the blue one with McLaren warranty remaining but this does look nice.

Not a fan of red / red seats tbh. Curaçao blue is stunning in the flesh as are the yellows and greens etc. It's coming upto winter you might see a few more cars appearing for sale. Definitely not worth risk of buying from anyone other than mclaren or Thorney imho if you want peace of mind for warranty cover or that it's been properly checked over prior to sale. There's a thread on FB mclaren group as we speak mentioning a non mclaren dealership warranty that's failed to cover a broken spring/failed strut. (Not Thorney for info)

Thanks guys, it’s tough as I only want one in that colour and ideally a spider. I thought the bonnet was aftermarket at least.

Yes ideally would like one at MC or at johns.

Seen another at nearly 100k and they just ain’t 100k cars on my eyes, at that money would rather put 30k on top and get a 600lt.

Well the search for a Curacao Blue continues….

The front left and right spoiler lips look like those Chinese carbon jobbies you get off EBay. Recently saw the MSO spec carbon in the flesh and this doesn't look like it; it should extend to the whole of the front spoiler eg: anything in palladium would, I think, be carbon if it was factory. Likewise the sideskirts look like they're very aftermarket.

Also have to agree that it's really cheap, which raises alarm bells for sure.

It did strike me as cheap for a Spider.

The mileage is also 22,900, not 22,500. Not a biggie but still incorrect.

As you say it's strange that the centre console face isn't carbon, I've only ever seen that be part of the 'carbon driving zone' option with the IRIS surround and extended CF shift paddles, both of which this car does have. An oddity to ask about I guess.

Otherwise it has the 12-speaker audio, as you say lots of external carbon which this time does look OEM, the normal heated electric comfort seats. I don't see anything it's missing tbh.
Colour is obviously personal, there are some nice photos on here Justin took of his Vermillion 540C.
