Anyone at the British Motor Museum today? Roughly 60 odd cars there.

Yup - can just see my car in the photo.

I've been driving past the place on the way to & from work every week for years ........... "must go there sometime".

Well, today was the day - worth a visit I'd say.

The key word in the name is "British" - lots of British Leyland stuff, but also "movie" cars, prototypes, "first" and "last" of production runs all in some very high spec and expensive looking buildings filled with knowledgeable and helpful staff.

Ps - That square steering wheel on the allegro ...... what WERE they thinking ?!

My dad bought a new Allegro in the 70’s, broke down on the way home from the showroom 😄 no wonder British Leyland went to the wall

Very enjoyable day, Thunderbird 1 being the highlight for me.

PS. Sorry to hear about your dad’s breakdown.

Yes, that’s me with doors up. Think we had 64 there on Saturday. Prior couple of days 24 on a Cotswolds tour.
