From my experience on RWD the Pzero is what you’re describing.
The Pilot Sports last longer and are better in the cold and wet, but in bone dry conditions the P zero had an edge.
Unless you want to go to the Pilot Sport Cup, which you really don’t want to use in the wet.
Also worth looking at what’s actually available in your size, as it may be academic.

So what is the best road legal tyre I can get for ultimate traction? Rear wheel drive McLaren 720s, I’m running 305/30/20 currently on a P-Zero and they are not great for getting the power down and take a long time to get temperature into them.
A quick search on google wasn’t really that helpful either.
I wont be tracking the car but I do want some extreme grip. Factors to consider
• Longevity – not bothered, I’m happy to forfeit tyre life for grip
• Road legal – obviously!
• Cold/wet conditions. I wouldn’t use the car in the wet anyway so not bothered about wet/cold capabilities
• Cost – not really a concern
