What do you think? Are these knackered or not?

Thanks in advance.

Get them weighed if you want a true indicator.

Run your finger along the disc surface, if its rough they are done, if they are smooth they are fine, is generally the easiest way. Not easy to tell from pictures.

Thanks, yes, you're correct but was after a general indication from those ITK.... in hindsight my original post was badly worded!

Also worth noting the car is a long distance from me.

Yes it is. If you know who, I'd appreciate a PM. Thanks.

These are almost certainly the original rotors and will need replacing.

When I sold it at around 15,000 miles it had new pads on but the rotors were good but used

Not sure who owns it but I presume the owner before the current was the OP of the thread I linked

That is indeed my old car, I did 9000 miles in just under 4 years in it , road miles not track and the discs were pretty much like that when I bought it.
Just before I sold it I had 2 new front calipers and pads replaced under warranty ( one of them was binding very slightly when on full lock ). At the time I mentioned the discs and the response I got was there is some wear but nothing to worry about.

It wasn’t eating pads either, the pads that came off were hardly worn.

It’s a good car I actually regret selling it !

Thanks, I've been chatting to the seller who was very helpful and prompt but believe a deal was done last night with someone else.
