Surprised to see Shmee's senna dropping in price at Alastair Bols, down to 660k now from 725k in May. . https://www.alastairbols.com/cars/mclaren-senna-ce...
which makes it significantly cheaper than the others on autotrader.

I'm not surprised at all that it's the cheapest one on Autotraderwhich makes it significantly cheaper than the others on autotrader.

> Influencer-owned and driven - documented trips to the Nurburgring, etc.
All that puts people off vs garage queens.

Wasn't it only cosmetic damage and certainly not structural.> Been in a relatively heavy accident (although not written off)

Ok at Mclaren prices the parts weren't cheap but I would hardly call it heavy damage.
I get it being documented by a YouTube won't enhance its price but its not a cat D car
Not sure why track usage of a McLaren is still considered a negative …I’d say a high percentage of them have been tracked at some point from the sports series right up to Sennas …as long as the cars are well maintained etc that’s what’s most important. Shmees car above looks like good value if you can ever say that about a £660k car !

I always thought the blue paint combined with the blue carbon fibre was a dodgy spec choice, could that account for the price? They are all ugly but at least in black it hides the ugly a bit and in a race livery it embraces the ugly. I don't think blue works well on it.
Yeah stealth is the way to go to try and disguise how ugly it looksStunning car and the fact the ownership is fully documented by possibly one of the most fastidious supercar owners in the world makes it a known entity. A good friend of mine bought Tim's old 675LT coupe and it was in faultless condition.
Yes the Senna had some minor panel damage that was fully documented and would not put me off one bit. You could buy a car that's been in a large smash and know nothing about it. Plus its been used, the biggest bonus as cars like this suffer most issues due to lack of use.
This is a Senna you could enjoy and it has a unique history, I would definitely buy this one if I was in the market, plus Alistair will have made sure its 100%, he's a stickler for detail and authenticity.
Plus, AFAIK, the only RHD modern non hybrid supercar ever made so in a unique class of its own?

Really? I'd say a high portion of Sennas are garage queens. Why buy Shmee's when you can buy one of those?
I am a firm believer that cars should be used and have no doubts that this one is immaculate. If I were in the market, I'd not be put off.
But the market dictates that low mileage, no known damage and no documented track use are more desirable, hence this one is cheaper and being discounted.
If i was in the market for a senna, then this is the one to have, at least in my eyes.
The damage was essentially trivial, although expensive to fix. Its RHD, which is handy. And it has a very well documented history, including (from memory?) going to V Engineering for suspension checks?
I just find it hard to see why cars with trivial mileages are 150k more.

When Rowan Atkinson sold his F1, and Faisal Bin Landen bought it, ever since then people have been referring to that car as 'the ex-Rowan Atkinson car' despite it being a number of years since he owned it
Wouldn't want that if I were to sit where Shmee's ar$e has been
Good point, it would be forever known as 'Shmees old one'Wouldn't want that if I were to sit where Shmee's ar$e has been

God forbid someone has used a dedicated track car on track......no wonder Mclaren owners get a reputation for being precious.Muzzer79 said:
