Going to buy a 600lt. Senna Seats for resale?
Discussion
Hi guys,
Been a good 6 months without a supercar and as much as I thought I was done with them, I've got the urge to get back in, a 600lt is likely to be the one.
Question for those having sold one, or if you are selling now- what is demand for these slabs of raw carbon, sorry seats?
I personally detest them and want to find one with P1 seats, however does the market agree with this on resale?
Everything else such as clubsport, carbon, colour I am pretty flexible on and not too fussed - just the seats.
Side note - if anyone is selling one feel free to contact, even more so if you like watches and would take AP, Pateks as PX- moving some on!

They are a lot more comfortable than you may think, if you've not sat in them perhaps?
I think a lot more people want them, than don't want them........but there will always be people who want the P1 seats, as with any spec choices.
My impression was that the Senna seats tended to be found more in the higher-priced examples, as above.
So if you want the P1 seats, then you'd be looking to save a bit of money upfront and expect to ask a bit less when you sell. I could be wrong but I don't have the impression that any of the three seat types are unsaleable, since different people have different personal preferences.

Yeah fair point mate, I had a 991 GT3 that was without front lift, so learnt a tough tough lesson about doing my diligence on certain options before purchasing! From memory senna seats were £12,000 option. So if you want the P1 seats, then you'd be looking to save a bit of money upfront and expect to ask a bit less when you sell. Hi there
In my hunt for a 600 LT I ended up having test drives in all three seat types:
- Comfort: Completely against the ethos of an LT, you also sit a couple of inches higher, in a coupe zero place at all, in a Spider maybe due to the heated function, but otherwise these were a big no for me, they look average, are not as comfortable for me as the P1 buckets.
- P1 buckets: Without doubt the comfiest of all the seats and you sit really low, they also perfectly hold you even slimmer people, look the part as well and fit like a glove, these were my number 1 choice.
- Senna seats: Absolute work of art, they look amazing, best looking bucket seat ever potentially, bit wide for me so I was moving a bit side to side, not as easy to get in and out of and the shoulders can block your vision marginally.
For me a 600 LT is the track / hardcore going sports series car, so it must absolutely have P1 or Senna buckets, the comforts have no place in such a car and I'd not buy a comfort seat car, they have a place in a 570S but not a 600 !
