I am looking for help,.

I am considering a 570GT but live in a village that has speed bumps - has anyone got any advice or experience

happy to share a maps link if that is allowed - but everything is in place to buy the car - just what do I do with the speed bumps?

Do 570GTs have lift? I never had any problem with speed bumps etc with my 650 when using lift (and wouldn't buy a car like that without lift)

Nose lift was an option

this one has it - the speed bumps look quite brutal although my merc passes over them ok

I did about 18k miles in my 650 and went over very many speed bumps - including ones very similar to the picture.

Never a single problem - lift really does raise the car fairly high.

You're over-thinking it. If it has lift, you'll be fine unless you start trying to drive up kerbs (and even then you might manage low ones!)

They actually look ok (may be the picture) but you would probably get over that without lift.

I have a 570GT with lift. Looks like it would make it over those particular bumps without the lift, but I would use it anyway.

The pictures are deceptive, the telling feature is the black marks where vehicles regularly bottom out.
I have taken the plunge and will let you know how I get on.

thanks again for all the guidance

There is a legal maximum height for speed bumps of 10cm. If the car you're getting has lift I'm fairly sure it'll clear a 10cm bump. If it still grounds, try measuring the bumps, if they are over 10cm you should be able to get the council to reduce them.

Thank you again - I am sure that there are worse bumps in the country and lower cars.

I'll let you know how I get on
