Main Dealer or Franchise owner

Whilst idly browsing the classifieds (as you do) I notice a 570GT for sale at Sytner in Tamworth.
McLaren Brum is owned by Rybrook, but the Sytner group also own McL just up the road in Wilmslow, so why are they not selling this through the McL dealer network?
The ad is pretty scant on any details, but presumably it falls outside the main dealerf network for some reason?

Could be a multitude of reasons but I believe that if one Sytner dealer wants a car from another Sytner dealer they have to buy it from them internally, they aren't centrally owned as you might expect. They probably took that car in on p/x and so it might not meet the criteria for being resold as Qualified hence McManchester not being interested.
The Sytner Select cars often aren't capable of being retailed under the manufacturer used programme for reasons such as missing a service, the fact that they may have been remapped or the levels of prep make it uneconomical to bring it up to the standards of the marque etc. for the required warranty of the car - I know this as a friend sold his AC Schnizter 1 series to them for "stock" & even though it had FBMSH with a main dealer (actually over-serviced) & was better than pretty much any 5 yr old 1 series on the market condition-wise, it couldn't be retailed as an approved used car as it had the AC Schnizter remap on it & therefore was sold using their own group warranty albeit through the BMW dealer.
Sytner BMW Tamworth has all sorts of non marque fancy cars that lurk in a corner on the front under the "Select" used car banner & given the size of the facility, I guess they take all manner of p/ex cars in, regardless of whether they would meet their other dealer resale criteria etc.
For something like a McLaren, it'd have to be a main dealer or a marque specialist like Alistair Bols to buy from if I had the £s, unless it has just been through a full dealer "condition inspection" & was still under warranty. I have a friend who worked as a technician so I've heard about the level of some of the warranty claims on relatively young used cars that have had issues. Adadk will support the theory they need driving & don't like being sat unused (& not on a battery conditioner)

A 570GT seems to be awaiting prep at McManc. Maybe they did punt it up the road?McLaren Brum is owned by Rybrook, but the Sytner group also own McL just up the road in Wilmslow, so why are they not selling this through the McL dealer network?
