Does anyone know anything about this car?

I have a friend looking for a 570s for around £100k, but spotted a Cat N 720s from a private seller for a little bit more. Seems very cheap, even for a Cat N.

Thought adverts had to state if a Cat N
Didn't spot it on the advert

I wouldn’t, he most likely would.

Could be a bargain depending on condition and the damage that was done.

"This vehicle has been in storage for the past two years" which seems almost as much of an issue as the Cat N, in terms of dried out seals and so on.

I also wonder if it's SORN which would curtail any test drives, making it hard to know what condition it's in.

The price is keen though. And looks a good colour in the pics.

If it were me, I'd want
- full photos of all the damage & repair invoices, as with any Cat car
- an MoT so it can be test driven on the road
- a pre purchase inspection at McLaren (eg a pre-warranty inspection) as with any McLaren

If inspection report was good and the damage was clearly fully repairable and repaired, then I'd go for it. If not, I'd rather stick to a 'clean' 570S than take the risk, given how deep the issues could potentially go.

ETA: could be this one, the dates and colour check out? Not saying it is, though.

That definitely looks like the same one.

Looks like a nasty crash as well. Will advise to get a proper inspection done first.
