Does one of these exist? I've the manual but it only has the most cursory information on the infotainment system.

Is there a separate manual for it? And better still, does anyone have it (or al ink to it)?

Thanks in advance!

There’s an Iris pdf linked in the FAQ on McLaren life

Thanks but that relates to a 12c. The 720s has a different system.

That’s the only one I’ve seen mentioned linked on my travels. Is there something specific you are trying to find?

Really just want to set it up properly. Seems bizarre that there is so little information in the owner's manual. I used to have a specific IRIS manual with my 12C but haven't got anything in the 720s.

Can any 720 owner tell me if they have a separate manual for the infotainment?

On the 650, there is a small metal 'cage' under the passenger dashboard that the IRIS manual slots into.

The manual is also stored in electronic form on IRIS itself.

Are neither of these true for the 720?

Yes there is a little shelf underneath on the 720 but I have a warranty guide in mine.

And the owner's manual isn't really much use. Need to know if there is a separate manual for the infotainment like there was in the 12C

Didn’t have a separate Iris manual with our 720s but it was all pretty straight forward after reading the main user manual or even just wondering through the options.

My owners manual PDF has 40 pages covering the Iris - "Central Display" from 4.2 to 4.42.

What do you think is missing?

Manuals can be downloaded here: https://cars.mclaren.com/gb-en/ownership/service-a...
...but I assume you knew that.

Yes thanks, I have the manual in hard copy and electronic copy. But the stuff on the infotainment is incredibly basic. For example 3 or 4 pages on the entire satnav system.

Surely there is another guide to these?

Can anyone who owns a 720s indicate if they have one of these? ( see at least one person doesn't. The guide on IRIS for the 12c was another book in itself

I didn't get one.
Did have the three booklets with the 650S but haven't had anything with either of the 720'S.

Is there something specific you are trying to do?

I'll go and have a look in the car, but I don't recall anything else. Not sure what it would cover, IRIS not being the most sophisticated system known to human kind.

Here's everything I have:

The supplement adds nothing about the IRIS. It covers prat-starting, homelink and telemetry, plus meaningless radio conformity data.

Many thanks. Looks like there isn't one!

Seems strange (to me anyway) but there you go!

I don’t think I have ever read a manual for anything on a car apart from getting stuck on a singular thing. Normally you just poke about and work out what it does. Very clever people worked for hours to make it so we can just use stuff.

Press every button or option and see what it does.
