Interesting or useful info for somebody thinking of getting one?

Poor PDI, couple of issues easily sorted IMHO.
Granted it shouldn't of happened from factory and even more so from the dealer but sadly there will be many examples of this from all manufacturers.

The Ferrari F8 demo i had for a weekend had a misaligned front bumper where the paint match wasn't great and the most annoying rattle from the dash yet they sent me out in it.

I did point it out to them when I returned it early but I doubt they bothered to do anything about it

Was this a staged video with an agenda?

This video replicated my experience with buying a brand new McLaren.

If it continues, his next video will show how they refuse to talk to him, block him from all social media and then say they won't do anything until an independent looks at the car!

Something very fishy about this video!

A supposedly new car with rust? Must be older than claimed.

A new car where the door is so badly aligned it is rubbing on the wing? Could it be a dodgy crash repair?

Finally, if the car is supposedly brand new, why didn't the owner simply return it to the supplying official dealer to fix or even reject? Why give it to a YouTuber for click-bait?

The video is a true approximation of my experience. Mine had rust on collection, the dealer promised to have my local main dealer fix it, they then ignored me.

I attempted to reject it, the ignoring continued. I only got traction when I turned to people on social media for help.

I agree that it should be simple to reject, not with McLaren though.

FWIW, my 650s seems much better put together than the wife’s Jag, or my V12V. 6 years on - no rattles or squeaks. No odd panel gaps - and certainly no whistling door mirrors (Jaguar - I’m talking to you here).

And even if it did have odd panel gaps - who cares. First time this year with the top down on my early Sunday morning drive - that EV-rivalling shove in the back, that feelsome steering and amazing suspension - never gets old.

That is horrible. Shockingly bad. I would be worried about the parts of the car not visible.
