12c worth getting a Gearbox Oil Change at 20k instead 40k

I am due a big service on the 12c at 10 years and 18k.

I am opting for a gearbox oil change even though its required at 40k. My thoughts are that nothing beats fresh oil . 10 years is a long time no matter the quality.

Has anyone else done this or is it best to just let it be and stick with the McLaren schedule?

Could this help resale considering I have done arguably a very cost effective preventative maintenance on a notorious component of the the 12c.

Agree 10 years is a long time and wouldnt wait until 40k to scrimp on service/maintenance items on a £200k new supercar

I wouldn't think it could hurt at all..........I'd definitely do it.........the 12c is a great car, I absolutely loved mine but it did worry me that a big bill is around the corner.....anything you can do to allay a future buyer can only be a good thing!
