First McLaren

I’m currently enjoying my first McLaren (a GT) having previously been a regular Aston Martin driver. I bought the car at Ascot dealership but live in Warwickshire so would like to get involved in events nearer to me. I’ve just applied to join the MOC but wondered if there was anything else locally I could consider. Also, any other lady owners out there.

Welcome congrats etc. There have been a number of threads on this very recently so search function is your friend. I joined drivers union as they had active local WhatsApp groups and plenty of runs being organized. Good luck!

Great choice

Had my 570 for 3 years now.

MOC is well worth the £50 fee and they organise some good events, but there are other clubs out there.

My 600LT came from Mclaren Ascot which is around a 2 hour drive from me.

They’re a smaller dealership and imo score points because of that, a very personal experience and I’d 100% recommended making the effort if they’ve got the right car for you.

It’s a lovely part of the U.K. for a weekend away too!
