Iris II repair kit. Survey for purchase.

The Iris II is a part of the car that is causing some issues. I have now found a supplier that can provide the screen and touch panel in a package. Took two months of investigating to get the correct parts and offer for manufacturing. My idea was to offer a how-to refurbish a new package in the Iris II frame. Can be done with standard tools, torx plus a normal screwdriver.
Since the part price from McLaren is approx 8000€ or 10000$ it might be a good saving to get this package.
Please let me know if you have a interest in getting this package.

I need to order approx 50 pcs to get this package below 1600€ each including free shipment in EU, 1700€ ROW.

So, the number of interest will be the decision point.

I'm aware of your issue - but in just over 2 years of ownership it's not something I've seen mentioned here, on the UK owners forum or on other McLaren forums I'm on.

Is it a common failure?

Yes, the screen is not reacitive over the full area.
Some spots cannot be used, usually the lower part for some reason. Some owners do not bother, others use their mobiles instead.

But some want this to work. But dont like to pay 8000€ for part. Plus install @ McLaren. Plus VAT.

Is this something that develops over time? My 2016 650 IRIS works perfectly at the moment.
