Guys

This one is up for sale in Saudi Arabia.

https://mzdat.com/product/سيا&#1...

2014
17xxx km
Current winning bid 108000 SAR = just under 20K GBP

No idea what happened to the front right wheel and why it has a Mercedes wheel on place

I am seriously considering bidding up to 50K GBP for this one but I heard horror stories and I have never had any experience with a McLaren or its dealers.

Any thoughts?

Hmmm. Don’t suppose there’s an English version of the website?

I can translate

It says no warranties or returns

This and another white 12c 2013 are sold because the dealer went into adminsiteration

I am guessing these are the ones that couldn't be repaired possibly because of a major issue like an engine or a gearbox

I am trying to upload pictures but can't

Any repair could be 3 grand or it could be 30 grand - if you've paid fifty that could become 100 total cost by the time buyer commission is paid its shipped to uk landed duty & registration is paid and then repaired plus the inevitable cost of rhd lights which no doubt are a tenner - old saying: there's no such thing as a cheap Ferrari - applies here too I think

Might be worth more in parts. Store for 5 years and then break it even.

A carbon tub could fetch 50-60k £ in repair cost.
Ask me how I know. Plus all the other parts.

if you spend quite a bit of time in Saudi then it's worth a pop up to £50k imo

also worth noting that if the seller is clever they can search google for references to the auction and possibly shill bid the car up if they are confident someone will be bidding upto a certain amount
