Ana at Hatfield showed me where to find a button (one each side - see photo) that will close the window from outside the car. Brilliant! Saves me getting back in on the odd occasion when my window drops half way, rather than closes, when I get out. Could not find this in the manual/internet and I wondered how may other secret switches this car has !

Isn't that the same button you use to lock the car without using the fob?

On the 650, the same area you touch to lock the car will also close the windows if you hold your hand there. However - when I had a problem with my driver side window dropping sometimes when I opened the door, it couldn't be closed that way.

Secret switch? It's in the manual, right near the beginning. Opens them as well. You can also open and close with your fob

Page 1.11 in mine. Easy to forget about it, though.

I found it on 1.11 too - silly me looked in the index under "Window".

@Pioneer - can you let me know how this opens the window (mine doesnt) and also how the fob opens/closes the windows(s). I tried a push, and a press and hold (like a Porsche) and it doesnt do anything different,

My 650 has a whole raft of buttons I am yet to explore, let's face it how many of us actually read the manual !

I found out by accident three unlocks on the key fob drops the windows and the roof.

If only I could get the air dam to rise on demand.

Not on a stock car it doesn't. You must have Smarttop fitted - which would mean your roof button is also one touch rather than having to be held up / down until the roof operation completes

Thank you for the reminder. Once upon a time I knew about the switch but I had completely forgotten about it.

When the window fails to close this switch will be considerably more convenient than jumping back in.

Thanks.

You can programme the smart top to drop the windows, roof and rear window however you like......great bit of kit!

Tried this on my 570GT over the weekend but it didn't seem to work consistently frown
Sometimes it would lock the car, other times it did nothing at all.
I tried the button immediately after getting out the car and shutting the door, tried waiting a bit, always inconsistent frown
Tried both driver and passenger buttons with same results.
Is there some sort of trick to this ?

Different car I guess, but I only ever lock my 650 that way. Never use the key.

It is part of the keyless system though - the only time I've had trouble locking the car that way (and unlocking it without using the fob) was when the battery was getting low in the key. Which I ignored, until I was out one day and it took me 30 minutes of 'key not found' before I could start the car....
