Can we have the mauvine blue debate again?
Discussion
Specifically on this 570s spider https://www.harwoods.uk.com/mclaren/used-car-detai...
Aside from the subjective colour it's a bit low on options? Reflected in the price?
cheers

There's a debate? One of my favourite colours tbh! I rather fancy the coupe at Uptown Cars but they're taking the mick a bit. It started at 89,995, then 84,995, then 83,995 (all at Bentley JCT600) then it re-appeared at a different dealer with the same photos at 89,995 and has sat there for about 4 months now.
Is it not generally a desirable colour? I do slightly prefer Volcano Orange but that's about it.

I think the contrasting plastic bits (palladium or whatever its called) pop on any interesting colour. But yeah the uptown (girls) car hmm interesting history. Slightly more lovely colour in the photos. Would have to angle grind the roof off mind Is it not generally a desirable colour? I do slightly prefer Volcano Orange but that's about it.
It's a bit like the Purple 12C Spider that THJ had for sale for months. Loads of people looked at the pictures and video but weren't 100% convinced by the colour (or the dealer) until someone bought it last week. It looks amazing in the owners photos. Now everyone wonders why they didn't act on their initial instinct.
I went to look at that Harwoods car and the mate who went with me summed it up perfectly for me - "It would look great as it drove past you but you wouldn't want it parked on your driveway every day"!
It's a lovely colour, has the "wow" factor and I'm glad a few cars have it but I wouldn't want to own one. I'm probably just not brave enough ...

I saw this in the flesh last week when I was down in the New Forest for a break. Looks much better in person than on photos. Surprisingly the colour combo with the yellow and black roof seemed ok to me.
The lurid bogey green 600LT on the other hand.... no thanks
