Picked up a roof scoop coupe last weekend and thought you folks would appreciate sharing it on here. It is a clubsport too which makes it a rare old thing. The car was off market and I found it via Alastair Bols who knows where to find what you want, and was an absolute pleasure to deal with: helpful, open, prompt, did what he said he would at every step of the short process to buy the car.

I am blown away by it so far, and certainly it feels a lot more “grown up” than my 600LT spider. Faster, with even better steering, but a car that you need to be fully awake to drive fast; it sniffs out ruts and cambers especially on the Cup2’s my car has. The steering is incredible though, full of feedback and accurate but not overly light and fast like say a modern Ferrari. To me, a hundred times better than a Speciale, a car I owned for about 3-4 months but hated the steering.

The extra theatre from the roof scoop makes me smile, you can hear the induction as the car gulps air and then the wastegate whoosh from the turbos when you accelerate hard smile

The paint is Supernova Silver, which looks like Porsche GT silver in subdued lighting, but when the sun comes out you can see thousands of tiny sparkling flecks in the paint, truly stunning in my eyes and especially contrasting with the lashings of satin carbon fibre on the exterior of the car.

Awesome road car - congrats !
To me they seem to be keepers.

Surprised you didn't enjoy the Speciale steering.

Congratulations on a magnificent car.
More write ups as you get miles under your belt would be appreciated.
I'm on the look out potentially, for a spider at the moment as I dont intend to track it and open top motoring adds another dimension to the whole experience.

I'm guessing the Ferrari equivalent is a 458 Speciale Aperta at circa £500k yikes

Yeah, that’s the nuts. The scoop adds a different dimension to the car. Congratulations!

Looks amazing and a dead cert future classic. Interesting reading about your 675 vs 600 driving impressions. Will you keep your 600LT now after gelling so well with your new 675 ?

Yeah I would be interested in 675 LT v 600LT owners impressions as the smaller newer sports series sibling has been suggested to me as a cheaper alternative

Having watched a SCD you tube video comparing the two and giving the 675LT the nod I think my heart and head says go for the rarer and more special 675LT out of those 2 as it will be worth significantly more in years to come being the original LT and limited to just 500 worldwide.

I think New 720S spider v used 675LT will still be the ultimate decision though.
New Artura looked good but I'm not sure I want my supercar to be a hybrid and definitely not an early gen hybrid which will no doubt improve over time as these new products tend to do

Perfect. Well done.

Will be interesting to hear further observations of the suspension. For me in my lowly 650, the regular version is a game changer on track as it filters out the noise and clearly signals what each corner is doing.

675LT has to be the best super car purchase right now. Well done finding that one.

I’ve been thinking about the Psycho purple one at Clinkard. Amazing colour.

Just watched a car guys you tube video saying the 675LT is a supercar bargain and SCD video says they will appreciate.
Seems there is much love for the 675LT but few cars on the market.
I dont want a white or a grey one nor a green import so pickings are thin.
Purple one does look good but I'm after a spider and got Alistair Bols on the case now

Thanks folks, lots of love for 675 on here and deservedly so!

Fezza, Alastair has a napier green spider I am sure you know about. I think that’s a stunning colour. If he is looking around for you, no doubt he will find something.

Thanks Andrew, I've seen that one and whilst I like the colour the fact its had replacement seats and now has a mix of leather dash and alcantara buckets makes me nervous. Also those multi spoke wheels would be a right pain to clean and I'm not sold on them. I much prefer the 10 spokes TBH.
Price seems top end as well given the above comments.
Not got my head round some of the price disparities with these cars but I guess they are spec and colour sensitive with white ones being cheaper ??

Roof scoop cars are well rare so must command a hefty premium but really make the coupe IMHO
