Hi all,
Has the PCC fault come up on lifting and lowering. Went to Mc had service and the PCC sensor was replaced. However still has the fault on lifting and lowering. Didn’t take it back especially not in this weather and the fault clears itself. Have read about accumulators leaking internally. How can I check this easily ? Also shouldn’t this have been picked up on the service if they were an issue? Especially as I believe they are a chargeable item!
Cheers

If your accumulators are leaking, you shouldn't be able to notice any difference when switching suspension modes.

When I first got my car, I had this error a few times - but only when driving off the driveway as it was relifting. I stopped doing that and it never happened again - but, I did have my front accumulators replaced last year so maybe that was the underlying issue.
My car was too hard on normal mode - most noticeable around town where one uneven bit of road would bounce me out of the seat even at town speeds.

ETA: Not sure what you mean by 'chargeable item'. If you have extended warranty, they are covered by that.

Bugger - you’ve nailed it. Even in normal a modest pothole will rattle my teeth. How the hell can they not pick this up?!!
Oh if they’re under warranty then I’m relieved !! I had heard different.
And thank you as always !

I've heard of it not being under warranty, but I think that is from non UK people.
I'm not convinced they check it as part of a service - think they pressure test them to determine if they've failed but it doesn't seem to be a general check.

Just emailed Mcl. See what they come back with.
And just to update, found fluid near passenger side front wheel leaked onto floor. Sort of like thin oil...,
