Well if you actually want to sell it I doubt there are many options...I wonder how many dealers would write a cheque for a Senna with a number beginning with 5 on it ?

Of course, the problem is if you don’t sell it at auction then you have a bit of a problem....the whole market knows what it got bid to. You need to put it in the garage for a while before trying to sell it again.

With a £6k max selling fee I think it's a brilliant place to sell it. Its had 12k+ views.

I bet this website is getting on the nerves of a lot of high-end dealers. What would dealer margin be on a senna? £50k?

Yes - the cost was discussed on a recent Collecting Cars podcast. The point is that the effort to sell a car is basically the same, so the cost should be the same. They are not feeding people champagne and lobster when they collect either.

I am be no means close to Senna prices but I thought they were more in the 800-900K range, so if it does go for 500-600K then that will be a clear signal as to where they actually are!

I would think they are all on SOR I can't see any dealer having hard cash in one of these, many have been for sale for 2 years or more!

Quick check on the pension fund yikes

Regardless of how much it goes for, it’s still the ugliest supercar of all time. Fortunately most hardly get driven so we don’t have to be subjected to its grotesque form too often.

Yikes! That’s a potentially expensive 900 miles of driving.

It is a rather ugly version of a 720S, and one where the 'upgrades' will not actually be used by 90%+ of the people that have them. Shame.

In the Podcast already mentioned Ed Lovett said that the recent Singer sold for more than he had been trying to sell it for before Christmas on International Collectibles (his traditional business).

It really has to be an issue for high end dealers especially those that don’t like writing cheques....I mean why would you put an expensive car on SoR with any dealer and take those risks rather than this ?

How Silverstone Auctions survive in the medium term I have no idea...quarterly auctions, big fees, big overheads ? I just don’t get what they offer over this,

I do think their timing has been brilliant...if you’re in a weak market/prices are on the down then selling your car very publicly via auction isn’t so good if it doesn’t sell.

Depends if you’re the seller or the buyer.

The other 20 or so people who are trying to sell them at 700/800k must be pooing their pants

At sub 600k they are pretty special though

I think the only ones that have sold recently were around the 600k mark, the market just doesn't really support the Senna and premium's, it's way too track focused and at that level there's better cheaper alternatives, for road you would rather have a 720s and a couple of other cars in the garage.
