Recent Purchase 650s Spider
Discussion
Good evening. Many thanks to those of you who gave up their time to help me in my recent search for a 650s Spider, and my quite basic questions at times. Having started my search in Nov 2020 I was undecided on spec and colour initially. However, I soon narrowed down to Orange or volcano red, and a few different cars materialised of varying specs. A grey car almost became available with a really nice spec, however, the seller then decided not to sell his car. Having taken your advice on board about the 'must-have options' and the 'good to have options' etc I finally honed in on two cars, a volcano red and an orange car. After a lot of deliberation I fell for the orange car. It has a good mileage of 9k, fantastic spec, including loads of my must have carbon items. Had I ordered the car from new virtually everything I would have specified was actually on this particular car. To help matters the seller also agreed to put a years McLaren warranty on the car, backing up its' flawless service history. The seller had cherished this car and really looked after it to a concours standard, and in fact had barely used it. The car originally started life in Scotland, then moved to London area, and has now returned to Stirling in Scotland. The car arrived up at my detailers about two weeks ago but due to heavy work loads I've not had time to see the car yet and pick him up, but all going well this will be rectified later this coming week. The detailers and their team are simply awesome and highly recommended as they look after all of my various classic cars for me, from my AMG's, old Ford Rs's, various limited Subaru Imprezas, and various others to a really high standard and know their way around these old cars really well. Anyway, they sent me a wee pic of my new car to tease me............
Look forward to recording my experience of my 650s in this forum and sharing any knowledge and experience I gain.

Will do, and likewise if down this way you are welcome to see the car, and the wee guy if he's allowed a ride in the car. (As would my 10yr old lad).
