If you're buying through the dealer network then the car should come with Mclaren approved warranty which i believe does cover most things, Im sure someone else will confirm if theres anything it doesn't cover over the new car warranty.
Personally I would buy an approved used car from an official dealer as they will prioritise you and get in quick if it goes wrong, which in my experience it undoubtably will, If you buy outside the network you could be waiting a while to get it in for repair.
Good luck on the search.

Hi guys, just curious on some thoughts to the below:
Warranties, any preference between Mclaren & Thorney?
Track pack, is it worth it, they seem rarer to find?
Is buying through the dealer network advised?
The warranties are pretty much the same price.......the Thorney warranty has a £10k payment limit but this because they prefer to fix an item rather than the McLaren approach of simply replacing anything defective, no matter what is wrong with it.Warranties, any preference between Mclaren & Thorney?

The only thing worth having in the track pack is the P1 seats........Track pack was an extra £16k which is a lot for P1 seats, a slightly higher rear wing and the Track telemetry app and cameras........it therefore depends how much you want these things and how much you are prepared to pay for them.

Read the reviews of the Track pack, some lightweight bits and also the P1 telemetry and full alcantara interior. Definitely a rarer option on the car.

The carbon bucket seats make a massive difference to any Mclaren when driving. Both my Mclarens have had them. I changed from standard seats in my older 12c to the carbon buckets.

If anyone is selling something suitable, not necessarily a track pack, please get in touch.
I'm looking for a spider in (I can't decide) either orange. volcano orange, or the light blue (curacao/fistral) - so equally, if anyone considering selling, please get in touch. RSbandit said:
McLaren Hatfield have a really high spec blue one for sale and it would include a years warranty...I'd be all over that if I didn't have one already!
Yes i did notice that one, perfect spec (apart from track pack which isnt a deal breaker), just not sure on the Vega blue, have my heart set on the colours mentioned above.Streetbeat said:
