Looks like a very nice spec tidy Track Pack MP4 12c
I haven’t done full due diligence but if you are in the market looks like a great buy subject to final bids

It missed its 2016 service, and currently not been serviced for over 2 years.
Not something i could overlook.
I wouldn't buy a McLaren that didn't have a Mclaren warranty in place, never mind one that has not been serviced in over 2 years.

What's much more interesting is the MSO Track Pack, a very rare option that would be far harder to replace or replicate than a missing service
If it were right for me to be buying something now I would have been onto this with no questions
Obviously very little confidence around here to sort out a couple of very minor jobs on an otherwise top spec MP4 12C that can be bought for just circa £60k
I'd also take a good bet that many of the 3 year old Senna with just a few miles on the clock won't have seen 3 trips to the service department either

I wouldn't touch it. If it had warranty work since missing a service, then that's pretty fortunate - because one of the conditions of the warranty is that you follow the service schedule. If anything expensive broke, I wouldn't be confident the warranty would pay up. For me, it wouldn't be worth the risk.
It’s not just about the car it’s also the fact you would be buying it through a pretty poor auction site also.
Zero protection for the buyer and if you did ultimately reject the car you would be down a sizeable amount of cash with the CC’s 6% buyers fee. Lovett does not give refunds !!

Instead of getting frothy mouthed, read into how it it's missed the 2016 service, along with the 2019 one and 2020 one.
Its advertised with dashboard warning lights on.
Its got a track pack and already had an engine replaced....driven hard...maybe; maybe not...servicing neglected...yes.
Could well just be a fantastic car though.
Your GT3RS is no doubt still sitting under a cover at a year old with a couple of hundred miles...i guess you won't be bothering getting it serviced when due as it 'doesn't need it'...

One thing for sure it tells me that you guys on here have absolutely no faith whatsoever in a one owner MP4 12C with a couple of minor issues to sort, great spec and a new engine, very strange as is the comment "it might have been driven hard" Lol I thought that's what were they made for
What is it you are saying, if there any issues after 9 years on a used Mclaren just throw the car in the bin

The day an engine is rebuilt or replaced, all previous engine history is irrelevant...... Surely ??
You can buy a car with all the papers, all the stamps, all mint, at top price, from a top dealer and could still have a whole heap of trouble.
Many times I've seen an average or below average car sold cheap at auction, only to be seen some time later at a top dealer with the history completed, paintwork done, valeted and detailed, and displayed under spotlight at top top money. At this point it's all of a sudden become so desirable. Then someone posts that they saw the car cheap at auction but were too spineless to buy it , but now it's showroomed they wish they had. TOO LATE !!

So you apparently have bigger balls than I and were interested in this car...did them bigger balls spur you on to buy the car or to get behind the keyboard instead?
I offered an opinion, funnily enough so did another owner here, that would hopefully be taken as advice to help a potential new mac owner make a descion; yourself and Juno are, shall we say, over reading a tad.
I had a newer Mac, a total corker with full history, and within 3 services had went through over a third of the price of that 12C on warranty claims.
These were discovered and rectified during services and the car was not 'off the road' at any stage between services due to an issue...so between myself and Dave, all we were giving is opinions based on ownership.
I love McLarens and shall be in another one soon, so contrary to Junos nonsense I have plenty faith in the brand and the car gets used unlike some GT3 owners that view it as a trophy to be kept under a cover and only spoke about on forums.
I would never be disrespectful to anyones car advertised, but if a post like Junos comes up I shall offer my thoughts based on McLaren ownership experience on the basis it may help someone make a descion either way.
Yourself and Juno are making the big issue about how i mentioned previous history prior to the new engine, but keep dismissing the rest of what i posted being that it has missed the last 2 yearly services since the new engine; put it into context would i buy a 3 year old supercar that has missed 66% of it services and has dahboard warning lights on...no.
If you are the guy whom would; fine...fill your boots.
Nobody here offering advice is saying whats right or wrong.
As a reader, absord the advice and decide how you want to proceed; but don't pop on here with hysterical responses that just make yourself and Juno look like total boskers.
If you want that 12C; buy it or move on...its all quite simple you know.
Maybe them balls aren't as big as they look in the mirror or from behind the keyboard; usually the case from noisy types.

B) will want a "deal" without being prepared to compromise. Or
C) want a deal and will compromise.
Many don't have the balls for "C", don't want to do "A", and "B" is rarely offered either.
I've opted for "C" on many occasions. Most recently purchasing a £20000 plus motorcycle without keys and unseen in order to secure an unrepeatable price.
I'm currently not in the market for a mac as I currently have too many vehicles, but when I am, option "C" will suit me fine if the right offer presents itself, and luckily I'll probably have limited competition.
I'm not talking anybody down or being judgemental, it's just the way it is.
