.....this happened!

Truely blow away by this car, picked up today from McLaren Manchester! Service has been first class from start to finish. Can't thank Chris Wigglesworth and his team enough for looking after us from start to finish, they really treated my lad and my old man like royalty, they came out grinning almost as much as me!!

Back home with his older brother!

Drove all the way home from Manchester to the Midlands with the roof down.......I've always been a coupe guy.......but I think that may have changed now!! yes

Need some decent dry roads to be able to properly compare........but initial thoughts are that the 600LT is just so much more aggressive!!

Congrats Sarnie.
Cant beat a McLaren spider !

As a coupe lover try driving it with roof up but rear window down as that's when it sounds the best. Way better than a coupe IMHO and like 3 cars in 1
I think you will find the 600LT is a massive step up from a 570S and cracking value for the differential

Congrats it looks great! Must be one of the last 600LTs to have been made? Hopefully the car wasn't sitting at the dealer long!

I'm currently trying to work out whether the biggest impact is Coupe to Spider or 570s to 600LT.........

Superb. I'd also be interested to hear your thoughts. 570S is still a great looking car next to the 600LT

Yeah true, both are steps ups IMHO but I would probably say the spider bit just shades it for the open top motoring experience but you really need a bit more sunshine so you will be wishing for spring to come around quickly.

Overall with the 2 items its going to be a massive increase in the overall visceral experience. You will always love that coupe as it was a special car but I think you will quickly forget it with this new one. All Mclarens are superb but LT cars are something special and to behold

Looking forward to some write ups once youve done a 1,000 miles

Superb Sarnie, look forward to hearing your thoughts once you've used her a bit.

I took a test drive in one but for the use I put my car too it wasn't for me, didn't like the extra noise & vibrations through the drivers seat / mirror at normal speeds & ticking over stuck in traffic.

Appreciate its a more exciting / connected drive when you can cut loose a bit & makes perfect sense if your going to use it on track, as a road car the 570 is not exactly lacking!
