Any ideas on rough prices for a 1st service for a 570s Spider (1 year old)

I'm ringing around tomorrow, however if anyone has any rough figures that'd be great.

Approx £800-£850 including the optional oil change.

About £1K. Prices vary hugely between dealers.

About right.

Just over £400 without the oil change

I was thrown by that question when my mac was serviced 4 weeks ago...'the oil change is an option on this service'

If the oil and filter are not being changed, what exactly is being carried out for £900?

Changed the oil regardless.

Yeah, I would always do the oil.

Oh great news. I’m sure you will miss it, but like you say hopefully the next ones better.

One thing to exclude from the service is the wiper blade replacement, they replace them every service at £30 a time, not needed every year unless you're doing high mileage IMHO

So Manchester McLaren - £920
Leeds - £800
Bristol - £714

Prices vary massively. I'll definitely supply my own oil, that should shave some of the cost off!

I'd assumed I knew where my car was going for its service in ~6 weeks - but perhaps I should get some quotes. A £200 difference is quite significant.
I assume they are all quoting for the same work - i.e. they are all including oil change etc? (I thought the "optional" oil change was only on the first service for new cars - but 650 Spiders comment suggests not).

Allegedly they've scrapped the optional part and its now a must. To be fair I'd change the oil anyways. Good news is I get a wiper set for £800 😀

WOW! I’d assume the 720S will be the same as it’s pretty much a similar process and parts. My 720S is now due a 10K service.

They'll probably bung another £100 on top due to Covid!

I only have one wiper - hope that means it's half price wink

£700-800, no more with McLaren dealer inc oil change.

Watch out for inflated bill if they include unnecessary wiper blade change.

Out of curiousity and apologies for the hijack as mine is going in for year 3 on the 10th I'm tempted to source my own oil to avoid £400 worth of dealer supplied oil. How much oil do I need to supply and are they funny about brand or does it just need to be the correct SAE?
