Fob and battery questions?
Discussion
Just had to change one of the tracker fob batteries as I was getting text alerts about low battery. I've done this and the fob is switched off and not being used currently as I'm the only one who currently drives the car. When I come to use it because I swapped out the battery will I need to make a call to Vodafone to get the fob reregistered to the car or does it keep it's memory?
As an aside I also changed one of the main fobs batteries for a new one to see if a lowish battery(No warnings from the car) was the reason behind my lack of keyless entry but it made no difference and still didn't work! While doing this I did find something out and that was the fact the previous or the first owner had put 2x2016 batteries in the fob instead of a single 2032 so it was running on 6v rather than 3v
