As I have the original set of wheels plus another set but only one set of TPMS sensors I'm looking to get the sensors for when my 540 goes in for warranty if I decide to go the Mclaren route. I'm sure it will fail the check without the standard wheels fitted but these currently only have valves no sensors. I just want to get the wheels ready to be fitted so it's just a simple job of bolting them on for a day should I not go Thorney or another route!
These are the ones I'm looking at currently
I'm assuming they will just work? Mclaren ones have a rather large slice of MacTax applied

TIA

These have worked just fine on my 675 with my spare wheels. Note they are sold in silver or black.

Cool. Bit dearer than the ones in the link but it depends how fussy the car is with cheap ones I guess and gives anther option! I emailed the company in my link and they assured me they would be fine. Just fit to the wheels, go for a drive and the car and senders would figure it out! These have worked just fine on my 675 with my spare wheels. Note they are sold in silver or black.

My understanding is .......
2012 sensors were supplied by Beru ..... in late 2012 the Beru TPMS business was sold to Huf.
Part numbers (and branding) changes according to build date during that year
The key detail is the frequency the sensor operates at. My '12 car uses 433mhz
I'm 6 months into using aftermarket ones (from ebay) they are working fine @ £135 for a set of 4.

Spooky - they are the same ones I bought (same seller too). They work OK on my car, but the key to it is research (maybe have an old one removed to check pre purchase ?.)Good luck !
