The yellow 12C at Sytner Select Leicester on Autotrader seems a very good price. After seeing the YouTube video of Thorney Motorsports (5 million miles in Mclarens) I think I could be tempted into a 12C!
Does anyone know this Mclaren? was this the one that was up quite a while ago?
The orange one you mean?Does anyone know this Mclaren? was this the one that was up quite a while ago?

A video proving how generally reliable and excellent McLaren's are is one of the quietest threads in the McLaren section for ages. I wonder why Does anyone know this Mclaren? was this the one that was up quite a while ago?

Maybe it is because it is not full of ferrari and lambo fan boys talking about depreciation/build quality?
To be fair I don't notice much negativity from Ferrari or Lambo owners but that could be me - it seems to be mostly people who don't own them who want to take a cheap swipe at the brand!Briza said:

Early lockdown I placed a deposit on this very car and it is definitely orange. Personally I liked the interior, comes with stealth wheels sports exhaust upgraded stereo some interior and exterior carbon and the extended paddles in carbon. Also has PPF. On first inspection the car looked brilliant and I was pretty much sold. Upon driving it (sounded really nice) immediately a TPS light came on. Wasn't too bothered and continued test drive. After about fifteen minutes of driving the engine went into limp mode with engine warning light on. Made my way back to dealer and they immediately agreed to send it to Thorney for inspection. That was on the Thursday. I left the deposit on it and spoke to Thorney on the Friday and they hoped to be able to take a look on the Monday or Tuesday. Not sure what happened but had heard nothing from the dealer after 10 days so gave up and placed a deposit on a 570S. Dealers were really nice guys imo, deposit was returned same day I asked for it. It has obviously been fixed and is back up for sale and at that price I really do think its a bargain. Be sure to ask the right questions!
They also have a 650s coupe in pearlescent white which looked really nice with some nice options.

I just love the look of these, and the fact they are British through and through, I have a TVR and a Triumph so I guess i'm used to unreliability, part of the fun.I looked at it in Jan so that maybe the case if they did it after. I noted quite a few on the front and (oddly) the roof had some too. I’m not talking peppered, but it was quite notable. I was actually looking at something else, so my point being that wouldn’t normally remember something like that on a car I wasn’t focussed on...
Car was up for 75K back in November at Syntner. I do believe a contributor on here used to own this so might see this thread and add some content.
PPF has been on the car for some time imo and though I noticed a few minor blemishes on the front end none seemed that bad that would have put me off. A small area on one of the side vanes which attaches to the body looked like it needed tidying but overall, for the price I thought it looked a great car. Having said that... my eyes aren't what they used to be!!

The problem with man maths :
My 360 will almost certainly be sold / collected tomorrow. I'm selling it because I just don't use it anymore, and it really is overkill having a 650S Spider and a 360. I want a "cheap" (< £20k) fun runaround that I can use sometimes for the boring stuff like work (if we ever go back to the office), shopping etc.
But I look at that 12C and think : Hmm..... I wouldn't have to add too much to the 360 sale, and I could have two McLarens...........

Having a similar dilemma - 12Cs offer such tremendous value currently - will pop in to Sytners I reckon for a look My 360 will almost certainly be sold / collected tomorrow.
