Wonder if the LT version (765 or whatever) will therefore have the same(ish) hp as a 720 or if it will then have in excess of 800.

I remember the days when people would have been thrilled if a Ferrari actually made quoted power - 355 anybody...

I resemble that remark. Worst mistake I ever made was going from a slightly tuned FD RX7 to a 355. What a dog that car was...

765LT will definitely make a lot more. New pistons, double fuel pumps, new oil cooler, new headgasket (various Senna engine bits), new mapping.

Based on the above video, expect around 835hp. Can only guess though.

For sure more, 2 very simple mods, one of wich will give false hp and the other real hp.
1) the false hp, caused by the shorter gearing achieved thru final gear, that means that even a bog standard 720s will produce more power if the difference is not accounted for.
2) dual fuel pumps. This will give the biggest gains specially at the top end, the consistency of fuel delivery and pressures will not only allow more power at top end but at the whole power band and more consistent. And it's quite essential when you shorten the gearing making everything move and spool faster to have a reliable feeding of fuel.
I'm not sure what they did to boost but again, it will allow slightly more boost too.

Right now I'm just curious to what further smaller mods they made to the car, especially to the coolant system (pipes and braces) given that it is one of the main culprids of some very visible breakdowns as well as w.t.h. is happening with the left side turbos that are always throwing their soul to the creator by means of weeping oil without a care.
