Thorney Motorsport has released a video buyers guide for the 720S. From personal experience, I concur with some of the matters covered. Well worth the watch if you are considering a 720S.

Shame the sound was so poor, inc noises off and coughs! I didn’t make it all the way through cry

The chap is good, but lots of coughs, plus he speaks too quick, think he feels the pressure of the camera.

I know he reads these post, keep going, high quality content, just try to speak slowly.

I had just initiated the process yesterday with McLaren Glasgow ( where i think this car may of came from ) with regards to coming up with a deal for an azores 720spider...watched this video this morning and now have serious mixed thoughts after seeing the oil leaks on this 720 when the undertrays were removed...warranty shall obviously cover it but its less than a year old and low miles; i think that is totally unacceptable on a £20k car never mind a car well over 10 x that amount.

My 650 has been magnificent and maybe not fully representative of McLaren...right now i am very unsure if i want to 'upgrade' it ..

The sound quality could have been much better but still worth the watch.
The latest video is even worse.
I really struggled with that

Bottom line is you'd need to be a real Mcl enthusiast to put up with this as a long term ownership proposition.

The video isn't shot to Hollywood levels but it's not a video about how to shoot the perfect video, it's about buying a McLaren 720s. And on that most important front, it's a informative.

There are issues with the 720s but again, my feeling is they're exasperated by message boards where generally people post more negatives than they do positives.

If I had the money, I'd have one like a shot.
