Does anyone know if it is possible to configure the rear view camera to be displayed on the centre screen rather than the one behind the steering wheel? Trying to view the display with the steering wheel turned is not great!

As far as I am aware, it can only be done on the 720S by folding the main screen out of site

I'm not sure if that's exclusive to the spider you have, or a general upgrade across all the more recent Sports Series range. The reverse camera displays on the centre screen on mine which is a May 17 570s coupe. It does seem a backward step to display it on the dashboard screen.

Ditto - seems strange they would change that, perhaps there's a setting you need to adjust or something..?

I've just had a reply back from the dealer, and he told me that later models have the rear view camera displayed on the main dash because owners said that the display on the centre console was too small for them!!!! I'll be having words with them if we ever meet up at a MOC meeting! biggrin

it's because you had a landscape image on a portrait screen so it also got a lot of criticism. Maybe rotating the camera would have been the better solution!

Glad I’m not the only one who thinks this is annoying (600lt spider similarly affected to 570(

Yep putting it on the instrument cluster is next to useless as the view is blocked most of the time by the steering wheel. Can’t believe anyone at McLaren thought that was a good idea - or that anyone actually signed off on doing it.
